THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 846 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bailey to 6 miles
south of Smithfield to 6 miles north of Pope AFB. Movement was
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Goldsboro, Smithfield, Clinton, Lillington, Fort Bragg,
Dunn, Mount Olive, Benson, and Fremont.
