...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Olive, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Seven Springs, Cliffs Of The
Neuse State Park, and Brogden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
