WWF-60, located at Buck Mountain and serving the southern
Piedmont on 162.500 MHZ is currently off the air. Technicians are
aware of the outage and are working to restore services. We
apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Residents who normally listen to WWF-60 are encouraged to try
tuning into an adjacent NOAA weather radio transmitter. One of the
following transmitters may provide backup reception to the areas
normally served by WWF-60:

WNG-597, located in Ellerbe, also serves the southern Piedmont of
the Carolinas on 162.400 MHZ.
