There is a Marginal (level 1 of 4) risk of excessive rainfall this afternoon and evening over northwest portions of the Piedmont of North Carolina. There is also a Marginal (level 1 of 5) risk of strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening. The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts, mainly between 3 PM and 9 PM. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. There is a Marginal (level 1 of 4) risk of excessive rainfall Friday into Friday night, and a Slight risk (level 2 of 4) risk of excessive rainfall Saturday into Saturday night.
