High pressure will extend across North Carolina from the east today.
Low pressure from the surface through the upper levels will move
slowly north and northeast over the Carolinas tonight through
Thursday night, bringing rainy weather. This low will push east off
the Mid Atlantic coast early Friday. A cold front will approach from
the northwest on Saturday, then stall out and hold near the
Appalachians through Sunday.
