Carolina, including the following areas, Anson, Chatham, Davidson,
Durham, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, Richmond, Scotland
and Stanly.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
  following counties, Edgecombe, Franklin, Halifax, Nash and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Slow moving torrential downpours continue over the northern
    Coastal Plain. This activity is expected to dissipate after 2
    AM within the watch area.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
  following counties, Granville, Vance and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
  and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Slow moving torrential downpours continue over the northern
    Coastal Plain. This activity is expected to dissipate after 2
    AM within the watch area.
