...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN FREMONT AND
NORTHEASTERN CUSTER COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 648 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Canon City and Florence, or 29 miles west of Pueblo, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and very heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Ponding of water on roads during the heavier
         rainfall.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Canon City, and Penrose.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
