...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN OTERO...NORTHWESTERN
PROWERS...SOUTHWESTERN KIOWA AND NORTHERN BENT COUNTIES THROUGH 800
PM MDT...

At 713 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Haswell to 8 miles east of North La Junta.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Las Animas, Haswell, McClave, Blue Lake, Hasty, Neegronda Reservoir,
John Martin Reservoir, Fort Lyon, and Caddoa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for southeastern
Colorado.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
