...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL EL PASO AND NORTH CENTRAL
PUEBLO COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM MDT...
At 330 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Falcon to Stratmoor. Movement was
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Colorado Springs, Fountain, Hanover, Yoder, Black Forest, Ellicott,
Security, Security-Widefield, Falcon, Stratmoor, Fort Carson,
Schriever Space Force Base, Cimarron Hills, and Peterson Space Force
Base.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
