This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Areas of frost will be possible across the San Luis Valley tonight
and precautions should be taken to protect tender vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Warm and breezy conditions can be expected Thursday and Friday,
with the potential for spotty critical fire weather conditions
across portions of the southeast plains. Dry conditions will
prevail on Thursday, with a few possible showers and thunderstorms
across the southeast Plains on Friday.

Cooler temperatures with good chances for showers and thunderstorms
can be expected this weekend. A few strong storms will be possible
across the far southeast plains Saturday afternoon, with more
widespread rain developing across south central and into southeast
Colorado late Saturday morning and afternoon. Rain and higher
mountain snow, will continue to spread north and east across the
eastern mountains into northeastern Colorado Saturday night, with
the potential for several inches of accumulating snow across the
higher mountain peaks by Sunday morning, especially across the
central mountains into the Pikes Peak region.

A cool and unsettled weather pattern will continue into early
next week.
