A couple of storms could become strong to severe, mainly across the Pikes Peak Region, with hail near 1 inch in diameter and wind gusts 50 to 60 mph. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible. Thunderstorms will track southeast off the Palmer Divide this evening, and weaken through midnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Saturday...showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the higher terrain, into the Interstate 25 corridor. A few storms could become strong to severe, especially across the higher terrain. Large hail, wind gusts in excess of 50 mph and locally heavy rainfall will be possible with stronger storms. Monsoon moisture will increase across the region this weekend. Moderate to heavy rainfall will be possible over the mountainous areas, possibly leading to flash flooding concerns. Will need to monitor flood-prone areas, such as burn scars, low-lying urban areas, and locations with high-running bodies of water or damp soils. Additionally, some strong to possibly severe storms will also be possible each afternoon, mostly over the eastern plains and I-25 corridor, towards the middle of next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
