This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into early
evening, mainly over the mountains and across the far southeast
plains near the Kansas and Oklahoma borders. Most storms will be
weak, producing gusty winds and lightning but only light rainfall.
One or two storms over the far southeast plains may become
strong, with outflow winds to 50 mph, small hail, and brief
moderate rainfall along with lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms develop over the eastern
mountains and the I-25 tomorrow afternoon and evening as well as
Tuesday afternoon and evening with the primary hazard being gusty
winds and lightning. A monsoon plume reaches southern Colorado by
late Thursday bringing isolated storms with the main hazard being
lightning. By Friday more widespread showers and thunderstorms
are expected with flash flooding being possible through the rest
of the period.
