This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A drying trend is expected today, with only isolated to scattered
showers and storms over the higher terrain. The strongest storms
will be capable of producing gusty winds to 40 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

After a continuation of relatively dry conditions on Thursday, a
cold front will move in on Friday, lowering temperatures and
increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms across southeast
Colorado. Main concerns heading into the weekend will be heavy
rain over and near the higher terrain, but a few stronger
thunderstorms also cannot be ruled out, particularly along the
cold front as it passes through. Cooler and more active weather
will persist, with daily showers and thunderstorms anticipated
into early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed this afternoon or tonight.
