.DISCUSSION...

Friday will be the warmest day of the work week with gusty southwest
winds spreading into the burn site in the afternoon.  Humidity values
will be low enough for critical fire weather conditions, however fuels
in spring green up will preclude the need for any fire weather highlights.
A cold front will bring increasing moisture for Saturday and a chance
for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Timing of the cold
front carries some uncertainty.  Current forecast is for breezy west
winds until a deeper push of the front spreads in Saturday evening.
However there is a chance the front could push into the burn site sooner
with more of a southeast to even easterly component to surface winds Saturday
afternoon.  If this occurs, odds for thunderstorms in the afternoon will
increase. Sunday and Monday look like cooler and more active thunderstorm
days with Sunday seeing the best chance for wetting rains.
