.DISCUSSION...
For the next hour or two, thunderstorms should remain to the
south of the SAR area. But there is a 60% chance of a thunderstorm
later this afternoon and evening across the area. Winds will be light
(under 10 mph) this afternoon unless a thunderstorm moves
overhead, at which point wind gusts to 30 mph are possible. Temperatures will
be unseasonably cool the remainder of the day with temperatures holding steady in
the 40s around the 9,000 ft level, cooler near the summits of the Wet Mountains. Any thunderstorm/rain shower
activity should be over by 10 PM this evening. Temperatures
tonight will cool into the upper 30s in the valley/low spots of
the search area, around 40 degrees on the mid slopes. Thankfully not much wind will be around to
make it feel colder.

Tomorrow will be a little warmer with afternoon thunderstorms likely.
