.DISCUSSION...

A plume of rich monsoonal moisture will be streaming over the
area over the next several days. This will bring daily afternoon
and evening scattered to numerous showers and storms to around the
burn area. Gusty outflow winds and lightning will be the main
concern with any thunderstorm, along with flash flooding with any
persistent, slow moving storm or repeated training over the burn
area. Breezy southwesterly winds are expected this morning, with
winds slowing decreasing in magnitude this afternoon and evening,
and shifting to become more northwesterly overnight. Winds then
shift to become more easterly to southeasterly Tuesday morning as
a cold front pushes southward and winds shift behind the front.
For this morning, sustained winds are expected to be around 15
mph, with gusts to around 25 mph. Winds will lessen to around 10
mph this afternoon and hover there through Tuesday, with
occasional gusts to around 20 mph possible. Humidity values will
follow a typical diurnal trend, though with an increase in Tuesday
humidity values. Today, values will fall to around 26-28 percent,
increase overnight to around 72-74 percent, and then fall to
around 42-43 percent Tuesday.
