.DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances increase over the next several days
beginning this evening. Development is expected to be scattered
this afternoon through early this evening, however, there is a low
to medium risk for heavy rainfall. A favorable monsoon pattern
will develop over the next several days, helping to keep humidity
values elevated, and winds relatively light. Additionally, this
will support increased chances for more widespread and wetting
rains to the area into the weekend and early next week. This will
also support increased chances for heavy rainfall and flash
flooding.
.THURSDAY...
Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny(47 percent) until 1200, then
mostly cloudy. Chance of rain showers and
slight chance of thunderstorms until 1200, then
rain showers and thunderstorms likely.
Max temperature.....65-70F.
Min humidity........40-45 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........light until 1200, then west around 8 mph.
