.DISCUSSION...
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for the Aspen Acres Burn Scar for
This afternoon into early evening.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in and around
the burn scar after 1500, with the potential for more than one
round of storms affecting the scar later this afternoon into early
evening. Winds today will be diurnally driven, with gusty winds
in and around convective activity.
Tomorrow will be a repeat performance of today, although there will
be a better chance of storms producing heavier rain tomorrow as
enhanced upslope flow will combine with a weak disturbance moving
across the region. Another flood watch will likely be issued for
tomorrow.
