.DISCUSSION...

There will be a brief break today with excellent ventilation and
brisk west-northwest winds across the burn area. However, an
incoming large upper trough of low pressure will gradually slide
across the entire area starting late tonight and continue into the
weekend. Surface winds will swing around to a more easterly
direction, bringing cloudy skies and a good shot for snow. Total
snow amounts starting late tonight through Thursday is expected to
be in the 2-4 inch range, with more snow anticipated Friday and
onward.

Sky/weather.........Sunny until 1400, then partly sunny (68
                    percent). Slight chance of snow showers after
                    1500 until 1600.
Max temperature.....32-34F.
Min humidity........15-20 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........West-northwest winds 12-16 mph with occasional
                    gusts 22-25 mph.
