.DISCUSSION...

Hot day today. Thunderstorms will not be an issue throughout the
day and the evening, but right around midnight tonight there is
a less than 30% chance for a thunderstorm to develop.

Tomorrow the majority of the day should be clear of thunderstorms,
however there are expected to be thunderstorms in the vicinity of
the Arkansas Valley Fair. By around 5PM tomorrow evening there is a
lot of support for a strong thunderstorm forming to the south of the
fair and then another round of storms that is forecast to stay north
of the fair around 1800-2000. Since the storms are relatively close
those storms very well could develop over the fair, we`ll keep you
all updated. The earlier storms could produce 1-1.5 inch hail, 60
to 70 MPH wind gusts, and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
