.DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorm activity should stay west of the fire through the late afternoon
and evening, although outflow from distant storms may produce brief periods of
gusty west-southwest winds through sunset. Cold front will bring strong north
winds to the fire after 2400, with winds then gradually diminishing early
Thursday morning. Better chance for showers and thunderstorms with wetting
rainfall returns Thursday afternoon, though gusty and erratic winds will still
be a concern with any storms. An even better chance for showers and thunderstorms
develops on Friday afternoon and evening.
