.DISCUSSION...
Today`s forecast remains on track, with similar conditions to
yesterday expected. High temperatures will be in the high-60s to low-
70s, with RH this afternoon dipping to around 40 percent. On the
large scale, winds will remain variable and under 10 mph through
most of the day. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in
the vicinity throughout this afternoon and evening. Coverage of
storms will be lower than yesterday, with best chances between 2-8
PM. While there will be a lower chance for any wetting rains nearby,
gusty outflow winds to 40 mph or so and lightning will still be a
concern, mainly during the mentioned timeframe, though an hour or
two on either end could still see some isolated activity.
Tonight, lows in the 50s and RH recovery above 70 percent. Winds
outside of any outflow from storms will remain variable at 5-10 mph.
Tuesday will be warm again with similar temperatures, RH just over
40 percent, and light winds primarily out of the west. Showers and
thunderstorms will be more likely across the region, mainly in the
mid-late afternoon hours. Heavy rainfall will be the main concern,
along with outflow winds and lightning once again.
