.DISCUSSION...

Southwest flow aloft remains in place, with additional monsoon
moisture streaming across the region. Today will be very similar
to Saturday, with isolated showers this morning increasing in
coverage by midday with scattered thunderstorms developing.
Activity is expected to persist until around 2200 this evening.
Main threats with any storms will be lightning and wind gusts up
to 50 mph, but slow-moving storms will need to be monitored for
potential flash flood concerns.

There will be a slight increase in shower and storm activity
across the region for Monday, with slightly cooler temperatures
forecast. The increase in storm coverage will mean a slight uptick
