.DISCUSSION...

A trough of low pressure will move across the region, and a front will
push across this evening. However, the impacts of the front will mainly
be felt at lower elevations. Overall, the weather for the mountain will
be pretty good, as winds are not anticipated to be strong and no
significant sustained precip is anticipated. With that said, there will
be an low chance of a passing shower or thundershower late this
afternoon and evening, but probability quite low (more likely virga
then anything else.

Focusing more on the 5 AM time. temps at mountaintop will likely be
around 40F with west winds in the 15 to 25 mph range. A bit lower down
at Barr Trail at 12K will be more like mid 40s with a bit less wind.
It should be dry tomorrow morning over Pikes Peak.

We may see a slightly better chance of showers and isolated thunder
over the mountain late tomorrow afternoon after 4 pm. Winds should
remain from the west throughout the day Saturday at 15 to 25 mph
