Critical fire weather conditions are not expected over the next 7
days.

Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread this afternoon
and into early tonight. Pockets of heavy rainfall are expected,
along with the possibility of training storms. Flash flooding will
be the main impact concern today. Showers and storms will
continue across the higher terrain on Friday, with more flash
flood concerns. The plains will dry out, with only some isolated
showers and storms expected.

For the weekend, it will become hot once again. It will be mainly
dry across the plains and with scattered storms over the mountains.
