.DISCUSSION...

Scattered rain showers are currently present across the area,
though current radar/satellite products do not show any lightning
as of 620 PM. Chances for lightning between now and 730 PM are
less than 10 percent. These scattered showers are expected to last
for a few more hours, slowly dissipating by 9 PM or so. Gusty
outflow winds are expected, anywhere from 25-30 mph depending on
storm placement. Once precipitation is done for the evening, light
north winds will set in with decreasing cloud cover.

Sunday will start off hot and dry, with highs in the 80s-90s. A
cold front will move in by about midday, spreading showers and
thunderstorms across the area through the rest of the day and into
Sunday Night. While most storms should remain east of the
forecast point, scattered convection will be possible during the
afternoon, primarily between 2-7 PM. Winds behind the front will
turn easterly, then north later in the evening, and should be
rather gusty, possibly 20-25 mph or more. Winds will weaken and
become more variable overnight.

Monday will be cooler and wetter, with 70s-80s and widespread
showers and thunderstorms over the area during the afternoon.
Winds on Monday will be out of the east-southeast, gusting 15-20
mph during the afternoon.
