.Discussion...
High fire danger returns to the area today and Monday, with very
low humidity values and southwest winds gusting 30 to 50 mph.
An upper wave will move across the district on Tuesday with
showers spreading across the mountains and high elevation snow
for the Continental Divide. Critical fire weather conditions will
be possible over portions of the plains Tuesday, before a cold
front brings cooler air and a chance for showers Tuesday evening.
Drier weather and elevated fire weather conditions are possible
Wednesday, before the next upper system approaches the region for
Thursday and Friday, with a return to widespread critical fire
weather conditions both days.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach excellent levels at all
locations both today and Monday.
