.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected through the next 7
days.
Moisture increases through the rest of the weekend and into early
next week. Showers will become more widespread over and near the
higher terrain, especially over the Continental Divide. Sunday
appears to be our wettest day, with chances for heavy rainfall over
the mountains, with fewer storms expected across the rest of the
terrain and possibly portions of the Raton Mesa area.
Elevated showers will remain over the mountains on Monday, with a
drying trend setting in closer to mid-week. Near normal temperatures
will continue across the district, with hints of a more active
pattern returning near the end of next week.
Smoke dispersions will be very good or better for the plains, and
poor to fair over the higher terrain, both Sunday and Monday.
