.Discussion...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through this evening across
the eastern mountains and plains though precipitation amounts will
be spotty and light. The front will make a brief push back into
southeast CO tonight bringing good RH recoveries to the plains.
However this will be replaced by dry breezy westerly flow for Friday
with above normal temperatures. While weather conditions will be
critical for fire weather Friday afternoon, fuels are in green up and
no fire weather highlights are anticipated. Another cold front will
bring cooler and wetter conditions to the southeast mountains and plains
this weekend through Monday with a chance of strong to even severe
thunderstorms, especially on Sunday. Warmer weather returns for the
middle to latter part of next week with daily chances for afternoon
and evening thunderstorms over the eastern mountains and plains.
Afternoon dispersions will rise into the excellent category for all
areas on Friday but will drop back into the poor to fair category
for the plains on Saturday. Afternoon dispersions will return to
very good to excellent across the mountains and valleys on Saturday.
