.Discussion...
Very spotty critical fire weather conditions will be possible in the
vicinity of the Aspen Acres Fire Monday afternoon.
Hot and dry conditions persist across the district through the
forecast period, though there will be an increase in precipitation
chances starting Wednesday across the higher terrain and adjacent
plains. As precipitation chances increase, so does the threat of
flash flooding for area burn scars, especially for Thursday through
Saturday.
Surface-based inversions will break today between 0900 and 1000,
with ventilation rates improving to Good to Very Good for all areas
by 1200 and lasting through 2000. Similar improved smoke dispersion
trends are forecast for Monday.
