.Discussion...
Abundant moisture embedded within westerly flow aloft across the
Rockies will keep scattered to numerous afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through the end of
the work week. The increased moisture will also bring the
potential for heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding,
with chances of strong to severe storms both this afternoon
and again on Friday across southeast Colorado. Temperatures
to remain at to slightly below seasonal levels through the
end work week. A return of warmer temperatures remains through
the weekend into early next week, with more isolated to scattered
diurnal showers and storms, mainly over the higher terrain.
