.Discussion...
Generally dry and warm conditions are expected across the area
the next several days, with the warmest weather on Monday and
Tuesday. There may be some pockets of near critical fire weather
conditions on the plains and across the southern I-25 corridor
on Tuesday and again on Friday as winds increase.
Little to no precipitation is expected across the district
through the next 7 days, aside from some occasional light snow
showers over the peaks of the central mountains, mainly on Tuesday.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach fair to good levels over the
higher terrain on Sunday, while the plains stay in the fair to poor
range. On Monday, dispersion will improve into the good or better
range at many locations, though portions of the far southeast plains
along the Arkansas River may stay mostly fair.
