.Discussion...
Warm and dry weather continues Thursday and Friday, with
winds forecast to stay under critical fire weather conditions
both days. Winds pick up by Saturday as a weather system
approaches, but southwesterly flow ahead of the system will also
bring humidity values up, keeping conditions under critical
values. Cooler weather with a chance of rain and mountain snow
develops from Sunday into Monday, though timing and location of
the heavier precipitation remains highly uncertain. Cooler
and wetter weather will continue from Tuesday through next
week, though timing of individual weather systems is still
questionable.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach fair to good levels over
the higher terrain on both Thursday and Friday, while lower
elevations stay in the fair to poor range.
