Critical fire weather conditions are not expected over the next 7
days.
Even less thunderstorm activity is forecast for today and Thursday,
with isolated afternoon storms limited to mainly the higher terrain
both days. Temperatures will remain above average through Thursday.
An upturn in monsoon moisture and a potential cold front will bring
higher chances for showers and thunderstorms to the district
starting late Friday and lasting into the upcoming work week, with
cooler temperatures anticipated starting Saturday.
Smoke dispersion is expected to be fair to very good across the area
today, and good to excellent on Thursday.
