.Discussion...
Critical fire weather is not expected for the next seven days.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely over the high
country today, with heavy rain and flash flooding possible over the
eastern San Juans. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will also be
possible over the I-25 corridor and the eastern plains later this
morning and into the rest of this afternoon.
Temperatures remain similar/warmer than normal for our Sunday,
though rain chances diminish quickly throughout the morning hours.
Daily chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms will persist
across the mountains throughout much of the week, with cooler
temperatures Monday and Tuesday, followed by a slow warming trend
through the remainder of the week.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will vary greatly across the district
today, ranging from generally poor over the higher terrain, to good
over mountain valleys, to excellent over the eastern plains. Rates
will generally be good or better for most zones tomorrow.
