.Discussion...
Updated to expire the Tornado Watch for the remainder of the Plains.
Also added low pops through midnight for the Highway 50 corridor west
of Pueblo, with weak showers/storms slowly tracking east.
Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms can be expected
along the southeast mountains and spreading into the plains through
this evening. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible along with
large hail, damaging winds and even an isolated tornado. Thunderstorms
will be less widespread for Saturday, but will ramp up again across
the mountains and adjacent plains for Sunday into next week.
Temperatures will stay near to a little below normal through the
weekend but will return to above normal next week with thunderstorms
becoming more tied to the mountains.
Dispersions will drop into the poor category for all areas tonight,
before returning into the fair category for most areas across the
plains and good to excellent category over the mountains. Similar
afternoon dispersions can be expected for Sunday.
