.Discussion...
Snow will continue to diminish and end this morning across the
southeast mountains and plains. Another disturbance will move
across the region this evening which will keep light snow showers
going across the mountains and adjacent I-25 corridor before
diminishing overnight. Temperatures through tonight will be
significantly colder, especially across the plains where readings
will only warm into the teens. Warmer temperatures return for
Thursday with windy conditions across the mountains and valleys.
The San Luis Valley could see critical fire weather conditions
Thursday afternoon depending on fuels status. Another storm system
will bring heavy snow into the Continental Divide Thursday night
through Saturday. Windy and warm conditions return for the southeast
plains on Friday followed by light snow showers Friday night through
Saturday Night as the system moves across. Another cool down can be
expected into the weekend with active weather continuing into next week.
Afternoon dispersions will rise into the very good to excellent categories
across the mountains today while remaining poor to fair across the plains.
Lower dispersions can be expected for all areas on Thursday with poor
across the plains and pockets of fair to good across the mountains.
