Warmer temperatures will return to the district starting today
and will likely last through mid week. For later next week, there
will be a chance that colder weather will return to the region.
During this week, zonal flow aloft, some quite strong, will be
over the district. Periods of windy weather are likely at the
surface, especially in the mountains, however humidity values are
not expected to reach critical values.
Weak disturbances in the flow aloft will move over the region,
and this could bring brief periods of snow to the central
mountains at times.
Smoke dispersion over the lower elevations will be poor both
this afternoon and Saturday afternoon.
