.Discussion...
Thunderstorm coverage will increase on Friday, especially across
the southwest mountains and Pikes Peak Region, as a cold front
moves through the region. Temperatures will remain hot with 90s
across the Plains and low humidity values the 15-20 percent range.
Moisture will continue to increase for the weekend into next week,
with widespread showers and thunderstorms producing wetting rainfall
across much of the area each day. Temperatures will also cool into
next week with readings near seasonal averages Saturday and Sunday,
then below average values for Monday into Wednesday.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach good to very good levels on
Friday, then fall back into the fair to good range on Saturday as
mixing heights fall.
