.Discussion...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected for the next seven
days. Today will be very similar to yesterday across our plains,
with continued cool and cloudy conditions. Showers and thunderstorms
will be possible over our southern mountains and southern plains.
The San Luis Valley will continue to be warm, dry, and breezy,
though winds are expected to be weaker than yesterday.
Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms continue over the high
country through the second half of the work week and into this
weekend, with the most widespread coverage looking to come in
through Friday and Saturday along the Continental Divide.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will vary greatly across the region, but
will generally be poor over the plains and excellent over the San
Luis Valley. Rates are mainly good or better for most zones on
Wednesday.
