Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
325 AM MDT Fri Oct 18 2024

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions are not expected for the next 7
days. A significant Fall system is set to bring wetting rains to our
plains and impactful early season snow to our mountains from today
through Sunday. Most locations are expected to see over an inch of
rain or liquid water equivalent with this system. Highest amounts
are expected over the San Juans and the southern Sangres.

Our pattern dries out from Monday onwards, though relative humidity
values are forecast to remain in the 20% or higher range throughout
the duration of next week for now.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will be mostly good or better today,
and mostly poor for tomorrow.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
