.Discussion...
After a lull today, thunderstorms will increase again across
the mountains and adjacent plains for Sunday and Monday. A few
strong storms will be possible on Sunday, though the risk for
severe thunderstorms will decrease into Monday. Locally heavy
rainfall will be possible with storms both days, particularly across
the southern I-25 corridor and southern Sangre De Cristo mountains.
Daily afternoon thunderstorms will continue into mid week in and
near the mountains with temperatures returning to near normal. Then
drier and warmer weather will spread in for late week into next
weekend.
Afternoon dispersions will rise into the fair to good category
across most of the plains on Sunday, and into the good to very
good category over most of the mountains. Afternoon smoke
dispersions will be about a category lower on Monday with some
plains locations staying in the poor category, while the mountains
and valleys max out in the fair to good categories.
