.Discussion...
Abundant moisture embedded within westerly flow aloft across the
Rockies will keep scattered to numerous evening showers and
thunderstorms in the forecast through the end of the work week.
The increased moisture will also bring the potential for heavy
rainfall and localized flash flooding, with chances of strong
to severe storms again on friday across southeast Colorado.
Temperatures will remain at or slightly below seasonal levels
through the weekend into early next week, with more isolated
to scattered drawnly showers and storms, mainly over the higher
terrain.
Smoke dispersions are expected to be very good to excellent
across the mountains and valleys and poor to fair across the
plains on Friday. Smoke dispersion is expected to be fair to
very good across the area on Saturday.
