.Discussion...
Meteorological conditions for extreme fire behavior are not
anticipated during this forecast period.
For tomorrow, it will be very warm with isolated high based
showers and storms over mainly the higher terrain.
Temperatures tomorrow will be about 4 to 8 degrees warmer
tomorrow than as compared to today.
Tomorrow night an area of moisture will push into western
Colorado. This will likely bring on and off showers to the
continental divide through the night time hours.
For Monday, the area of moisture over western Colorado will
push eastward, with scattered to likely showers over all
of the higher terrain. Over the plains, it will remain
very warm with isolated showers.
A cold front will cross the region Monday night, This system
will bring cooler air into the district for Tuesday,
Additionally, there will be a very good chance of rain over
the mountains and valleys on Tuesday. Some of the rain
could be heavy over the southern mountains and greater
I-25 corridor region.
A cooler and wetter pattern will likely remain over the
region into Friday.
Smoke dispersion will generally be very good or better both
tomorrow afternoon and Monday afternoon across the district.
