.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next 7
days.
Even less thunderstorm activity is forecast for Wednesday and
Thursday, with isolated afternoon storms limited to mainly the
higher terrain both days. Temperatures will remain above average
through Thursday. An upturn in monsoon moisture and a potential
cold front will bring higher chances for showers and thunderstorms
to the district starting late Friday and lasting into the
upcoming work week,k with cooler temperatures anticipated starting
Saturday.
Surface-based inversions will break Wednesday morning between
1000 and 1100, with ventilation rates improving to Good to Very
Good for most locations by 1200 and remaining favorable through
1900. Improved smoke dispersion is forecast for Thursday.
