.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next 7
days.
Wet and unsettled conditions will last across the district through
most of this week, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected
each day. Best chance for more widespread showers, as well as heavy
rainfall and flash flooding, will be over the southern mountains and
plains, from late Wednesday into Thursday. Light snow accumulations
may also be possible this week across the highest mountain peaks,
mainly at night. A slight warming and drying trend will then set in
this weekend.
Smoke dispersions will generally be good or better across the
district this afternoon, though some pockets of poor rates are
expected near our southeast mountains. Rates will generally be poor
on Wednesday, with pockets of fair to good dispersions over the far
eastern plains.
