.Discussion...
Rain showers will persist over the plains, while heavy, wet snow
will fall over the mountains. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches are
expected along and east of I-25, increasing over east facing
slopes of our eastern mountain ranges. Meanwhile, several feet of
snow will be possible over most of our mountain peaks and
adjacent slopes.
Temperatures will be cool through tomorrow, warming towards the
end of the week and this weekend. As high pressure begins to build
back in, the area will dry out somewhat, though daily chances for
showers and thunderstorms will continue over and near the higher
terrain.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will be generally poor to fair on
Wednesday and fair to good for most zones on Thursday.
