.Discussion...
A cold front will move onto the plains this afternoon, bringing
cooler temperatures and widespread moisture to the district.
Temperatures throughout this week will reside near seasonal normals,
a fair bit cooler on Monday behind the front. Persistent, monsoonal
moisture is expected to enter the mountains by midweek, with daily
showers and thunderstorms. Given the increase in moisture, no
critical fire weather conditions are expected. Temperatures will
warm slightly for mid to late week.
Afternoon smoke dispersions for Today will be good or better of the
plains and San Luis Valley, while areas over and near the mountains
will retain poor to fair dispersions, with fair to good over the I-
25 corridor. Dispersions on Monday will be poor to fair over most of
the district.
