...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL LA PAZ AND SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM MST...

At 453 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Buckskin Mountain Park, or near Parker Dam. This thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Parker and Buckskin Mountain Park.

This includes AZ Route 95 between mile markers 139 and 146, and
between mile markers 148 and 154, and near mile marker 156.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

If on or near Colorado River, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
