...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GILA...MARICOPA AND PINAL
COUNTIES THROUGH 245 AM MST...
At 203 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Punkin Center to near Four Peaks to 7 miles
south of Apache Lake. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sunflower, Roosevelt, Miami, Top Of The World, Punkin Center,
Roosevelt Dam, Top-Of-The-World, Claypool, Tonto Basin, Tonto
National Monument, Four Peaks, Apache Lake, Inspiration, and
Roosevelt Estates.
This includes the following highways...
US Highway 60 between mile markers 236 and 246.
AZ Route 87 between mile markers 214 and 224.
AZ Route 188 between mile markers 224 and 267.
