.DISCUSSION...
Extreme heat is expected to continue at the fire site with high
temperatures exceeding 115 degrees on Saturday and 110 degrees
on Sunday. Afternoon humidity values will bottom out below 20% on
Saturday and increase slightly to around 20-25% by Sunday. Overnight
recovery will be fair up to 40-45% Saturday night. Winds will follow
typical diurnal patterns, starting off light and variable early Saturday
morning with southerly flow increasing by mid-morning into the early
afternoon. Expect speeds to range from 5-15 mph with higher gusts up
to 20 mph each afternoon. There is a low chance (30%) for winds to
exceed 25 mph late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Rain chances
will remain low <10% through this weekend, although a stray shower
or storm cannot be ruled out.
