.DISCUSSION...
Very hot and dry conditions will prevail, with no rain expected,
through Wednesday. Minimum RH values in the afternoons will drop
to around 15% for a couple hours and only recover to around 35-40%
Tuesday night and Wednesday night. Winds will continue to favor a
southerly to southeasterly component during the afternoons, with
sustained speeds around 5-10 mph and occasionally gusting up to 15
mph. Very light speeds, 5 mph or less, and variability are
expected during the overnight and morning hours, with a slight
northerly component. Aside from these typical diurnal wind
tendencies, there may be a brief period in late Tuesday and
Wednesday evenings, around 9-10 PM MST, where winds abruptly shift
90 degrees from south to west, with a gust up to 20 mph.
