.DISCUSSION...
An unsettled weather pattern is expected today as a weather system
moving through will result in increasing chances (50-70%) of
showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon through this
evening. In the meantime, through the mid-afternoon hours, winds
will generally be out of the south to southwest with some
afternoon gusts approaching 20 mph. Thereafter, the chances of
showers and thunderstorms will increase with the potential of
gusty and erratic winds, occasional lightning, and localized
heavy rainfall activity. There is about a 30-50% chance of gusts
exceeding 35 mph with any thunderstorm activity. Even though the
chances are very low, there is still about a 5% chance of the
heavy rainfall activity leading to flash flooding with any
persistent thunderstorm activity. MinRHs will once again remain
elevated with values between 30-40% with very good overnight
recoveries. Drier conditions will settle into the region on
Wednesday.
